A LIFE LONG FRIENDSHIP
A LIFE LONG DREAM
Nic and Skye met as children in their home country of Australia; they were just 8 years old, and didn’t yet realize they would be friends for life. They grew up with the same books in their laps and the same stories in their heads, under the same Eucalypt trees, dreaming of being artists and writers.
They began working for The Secret in 2005 when they were in their early 20s, and moved to California together the next year. There, they finally made their lifelong dream of making children’s books together come true. In 2014 they formed their picture story book company, Cuppa Cooish, and in 2015 released their first title, The Power of Henry’s Imagination.

· a state of intense coziness;
· the comfort of a place;
· the aliveness of objects.
Cuppa cooish is a made up word (as all words are), which refers to a state of warm, sweet, almost magical coziness that brings a feeling of comfort. Think: crackling log fire in a stone cottage on a rainy afternoon. Cuppa cooish can also refer to the living character of objects – the sense of aliveness that can emanate from inanimate ‘things.’ Think: your favorite childhood toy.
cup·pa [ as abbreviated ] informal
cup·pa coo·ish·ness (noun)
“This place is so cuppa cooish; I feel like everything is right in the world.”
“I’m just going to curl up in this cuppa armchair.”
Early 1980s (originally from Skye’s childhood) — sounds that felt right to describe an indescribable feeling.
